Wired4Women by BCX embraces diversity and inclusion
At BCX we are passionate about diversity and inclusion, not only in our own ranks, but throughout the South African business world and the wider community. The Wired4Women project is an initiative spearheaded by our Managing Executive: Marketing at BCX,Mpho Hlefana, providing support and networking opportunities for women in tech. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is in full swing and women in the industry play a critical role in this key sector at every level. The aim of the initiative is to devise concrete ways to strengthen the female pipeline for the industry, while raising awareness of the role of women in Information and Communications Technology (ICT)..
We need to empower and inspire the next generation of women in tech. To make a real impact, we’re women investing in other women.

Why does Wired4Women exist?
In a competitive market where half of the world’s population are women, the importance of female contributors and decision makers cannot be ignored.
Wired4Women was established to put women at the forefront of technology, showcasing female game changers who are making strides in the industry.
The platform encompasses stories, content and webinars, and serves to encourage more women to become mentors and demonstrate female leaders who pave the way for girls in tech.

Nomonde White-Ndlovu
Chief Information Officer, Bidvest Bank and Chairperson, W4W
Nomonde is a multi-award-winning executive and thought leader in technology and fintech in South Africa. She is passionate about women in business and working with young talent within the technology industry.
Gugu Mthembu
Chief Marketing Officer, Telkom
Gugu has a proven record in the management, digitalisation, product design and transformation of leading international telecoms service providers. She delivers results through creative problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
Kume Luvhani
Co-founder and Executive Director, Vaxowave
At just 29, Kume made directorship at Absa becoming one of the youngest executives at the bank. Her passion for business enablement through innovation led to her co-founding Vaxowave, a technology company, in 2018.
Helen Constantinides
Wired4Women Tech Forum Board Member
Helen is an experienced Chief Information Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. She was a finalist for the Visionary CIO award in 2019 and 2022, and is an executive member for the Group at AVBOB Mutual Assurance Society.
Dr Philile Mkhize
Chief Operating Officer, Technology Services, Absa Group
Philile is an accomplished IT and digital executive with over two decades of experience. She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from California Intercontinental University. Philile dedicates a lot of time to mentoring girls and women in technology, with a keen focus on women in leadership.
Jennifer Ramnath
Chief Digital and Information Officer, Mastercard Foundation
Jenniffer is a technology specialist with over 25 years’ experience. Before joining Mastercard, Jeniffer was MD: Technology Strategy and Advisory at Accenture. She is an experienced collaborator, facilitator and keynote speaker mentoring women in technology.
Nonhlanhla ‘Noni’ Tshabalala
Senior Manager Product and Platforms: Digital Enablement SA, Multichoice
Noni is passionate about digital transformation and driving strategy execution. She has over 10 years’ experience working across various industries, the majority gained in financial services. She joined Absa in 2013 and then MultiChoice in 2021.
Helen Nicholson
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, The Networking Company
Helen has been called the ‘Queen of Networking’ by many of her clients. She began her career as an accountant and has evolved into her current role of CEO (Chief Excitement Officer) of The Networking Company.
